Revitalizer
As a storm cloud, passing through a translucent sky,
I wander endlessly in a life that takes freely.
Desired by many, needed by most,
But unwanted and unloved,
seemingly;
As I move through each coast.
They beg of the rain drops I hold in my breathe,
But cannot stand the winds that carry each one out west.
Trees bleached from the heat of the sun,
Like a rainstorm in July, my presence is wanted until I arrive,
Desired for a moment, but that moment quickly passes.
Never chosen;
And I’m sent away,
Until I’m needed to soothe the wilted,
and the hills again, need to thrive.
A revitalizer, alone in the wide-open skies,
The bluest and brightest day’s and darkest somber night’s,
Leave me still to wonder, how come suddenly I find it hard to cry?
